DISASSEMBLY & ASSEMBLY OF THE GRINDING ROLLERS
AND ADJUSTMENT OF THE CLEARANCE BETWEEN THEM
Disassembly of the grinding rollers:
From the left side of the machine, take away the
protecition cover, v-belt and the link belt and pulley
of the fast roller axis.
From the right side of the machine, take away the gear
box and gears.
Take away the tie spring unit.
Take out the rollers from the grinding door carefully,
pay attention to the protection of the teeth.
For 6FY-30 machine, take away the grinding door, the
fixing bolts and pins of the upper and lower housings,
then remove the upper housing.
Dismount of bearing bracker (Fig.2)
Take away screw7, bearing cover6, bolt 12 and shelves
circle 14.
Loosen two locking nuts 8, hit cylinder pin 10, and
take the case 9 round nut and screw away from grinding
roller 1.
Rotate two M12 style bolts(fittings) inside the two
bolt's hole of bearing bracket 4. You should rotate
and replace it regularly, thus the bearing bracket 4
will be carried from grinding roller. (In order to prevent
the grinding cover from crashing, the titled iron should
be inserted between grinding cover 2 and grinding roller
1.)
Installation and adjustment of bearing bracket
Hit the rolling bearing 5 out of the bearing bracket
4 gently, clean the bearing (once per month), and apply
some calcium grease enough.
Cover the sealed series 3 on the bearing bracket, install
the fel inside the oil sealed groove, put it on the
shaft of roller 1 and fixed roller 12, and make the
shelves circle 14 tighten with the bolt 13.
Install the rolling bearing on the shaft of roller,
use the iron pipe which diameter is bigger than the
shaft of roller's to cover shaft of roller, and hit
the iron pipe with hammer, and tehn the bearing will
be put on the shaft of roller.
Install the screw cover 9 on the shaft of roller 1,
hit it in the cylinder's pin 10, rotate the locking
nut 8, and press closely the interal circle of bearing
bracket 5, and then make the two locking nuts combine
together.
Use the screw 7 to install the bearing cover 6 on the
bearing has been finished, it should be flexible and
convenient, otherwise the a forementioned steps should
be chested, and make them be up to the standard.
Note: During the normal operation the flour-milling
machine should be chested ofter, ensuring the lockingnut
presses the internal circle of bearing closely, and
the two lockingnuts are combined together.
Disassembly & assembly of the fast roller and the
method of adjustment is simlar to the slow roller's,
it can be performed referentially.
When the wiredrawing is being operated, the supporting
location of bearing should be installed that part of
internal bearing.

Assembly of the grinding rollers(Fig.2)
Procedures are completely contary to the above, then
,the surfaces are to be cleaned and coated with machine
oil. Before installation the screw bolts should be stained
with machine oil.
Teeth arrangement of the grinding rollers(Fig. 3)
| 1. blunt-to-blunt |
2.blunt-to-sharp |
3.sharp-to-sharp |
The newly cut teeth of the grinding rollers should
be arranged as blunt to blunt pattern(i.e the sharp
horns of two roller facing the operator). After the
teeth are worn or productivity is obviously deccreasing,
either exchange the fast and slow rollers or reverse
the slow roller making the teeth blunt-to-sharp, if
the tooth points are wort further and the producitivity
is decreasing badly, the teenth should become sharp-to-sharp
by reversing the fast roller, when the tooth points
become bigger surface and the productivity decreasas
to less than 50kg/h and the power consumption is obviously
increasing, the grainding roller should be cut. Usuallly
after grinding 20000kg of flour the roller should be
cut.

Inital adjustment:First shut the lock, then adjust
the springs, making them shorten 8-10mm(i.e, the ring
and the spring tube are at the same level, not pressing
them too much). the pressure of the springs should be
equal, check the roller clearance with eyes or with
a 0.5-1.0mm steel plate.
Fine adjustment: Feed a piexe of 280mm wide paper,
turn the handwheel(6) to adjust the clearance, then
turn the v belt by hand, observing whether the tolling
trace is even or not, if not, adjust the screw nut of
the tie to make the fast and slow rollers parallel.
after shutting the lock, the supporting ring of the
tie should be moved slightly. Don't press it too much.
the adjustment of the pressure of the spring can be
obtained by adjustung the screw nut of the spring outside.
Generally speaking, it is better to make the supporting
ring and spring tube parallel.
Adjustment during operation: Check whether the
crushed graing is even or not, if not, adjust the pressure
of the spring(1).
FEED CONTROL(Fig.4)
Feed is controlled by the clearance between the feeding
adjusting plate (3) and the slow roller (2) before starting
the machine, adjust the sliding plate (10) into the
proper position according to the required feed (in order
to avoid obstructin because of excesssive feed, small
preadjusted interval is recommended). Shut the lock
after starting the machine. The feed control plate (3)
will be in the preadjusted position due to the weight
of the fed grain and the strength of the adjusting spring
(9). if the feed control is not suitable, turn the miniadjusting
handwheel (11) to maike it proper.
The screw (8) in the socket(7) is used to prevent grain
from leaking and rubbing between the adjusting plate
(3) and the slow roller (2) when the lock is open, preadjust
the screw (8) in the proper position, making it touch
the adjusting fork when the lock open.
ADJUSTMENT OF THE WALL PLATE AND THE LONGER PLATE
IN TEH REAR (Fig.5)

Adjustment of the Wall Plate: The wooden wall
plate or nontoxic plastic (2) in the inner wall of the
two ends of the shell is used to prevent grain from
leaking from the two ends of the roller without being
ground.
When the diameter of the roller bocoms smaller, relax
the screw nut (4), remove the wall plate downwards,
shorten the clearance between it and the rollers until
the grain is not leaking, then, fasten the screw nut.
Adjustment of the longer sliding plate in the rear:
In order to prevent grain from leaking and rollers from
rubbing, adjust the longer sliding plate in the rear
(1) whennever the rollers are cut or changed, While
adjusting, keep the clearance between the longersilding
plate in teh rear and the slow roller at 1.5-2mm by
relaxing the screw nut (3) and turning the crank(5)
then lock the screw nut fast..
THE TRANSMISSION ROUTE OF THE MACHINE AND THE ADJUSTMENT

The motor (1) drives the linking belt wheel (5) and
makes the fast roller work, then the slow roller begins
to work with the joining of gear (6) and gear (7) at
the same time the v belt (4) and the linking belt wheel
(5) drive the sieve belt wheel (3), making the sieve
(8) work.
Replacement of the gear: After being cut many
times, the diameter of the roller will become smaller
and the centre distance of the follers will gradually
become smaller, so it is necessary to replace the gear
as shown in Table 2

Adjustment of the transmission Velt: The tension
of the V-belt can be adjusted by loosing the screw nut
of the motor socket and adjusting the screw in the motor
sliding trace until it is in the proper position (the
motor would heat if the belt is too loose) ,Then ,fasten
the screw nut.
Adjustment of the round sieve V belt: The adjustment
of the round sieve V belt can be obtained by moving
the tension wheel, pay attention not to tightening it
excessively to prevent from shortening its service okfe.
ROUND SIEVE
Structure of the round sieve: The round sieve
consists of sieve cage, birstle brush, bran plat and
housing. The sieve cage is suported by three screws
M12 and lined with nylon screen cloth, When the sieve
cover used for a length of time,6 nuts M12 can be djusted.
Replacement of the screen cloth: During replacing
the screen cloth, firstly open the sievecover, take
out the sieve cage, loose the wires in groove of the
front and rear sieve eims, remove the old screen cloth
and fix the new sieve covering on the screen cage with
wires then adjust the nuts on lower ends of three screws
M12 by hand to make the new covering tensioned, Finally
tighten up the nuts on upper ends of three screws M12
by using of the spanner.
Attention: it shuld be neither too tight nor too loose,
if too tight, it will affect the quality of the flour
and shorten the service life of the screen, if too loose,
the flour cna't be sifted cleanly.
Replacement of the brush: There are long holes
in the brush in the sieve cage, if the screen can't
be brushed, move the brush until it can brush it but
hit too much, if it is brushed too much, its servise
life will be shortened.
